Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds Filming Locations (Bodega Bay, San Francisco) | GH5 | Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8

Some shots of locations appearing in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963).

Alfred Hitchcock arrived in Northern California in 1961 during the writing stage of his next project The Birds to scout filming locations for its story in which villagers are attacked by murderous gulls (Source: https://www.bodegabay.com/the-birds/). He ultimately chose spots in San Francisco, Bodega and, in the main, Bodega Bay, the real remote Sonoma County coastal location where the majority of his fictional horror tale takes place.
